Parham & Tim are... finished.

Parham's Pizza Pal Party
02/26/2013@ 수원 [Suwon]

As always, people come and go in the world of English teaching in Korea. Tim has left Korea and moved on to his own business in Chile. Also, Parham has finished at Avalon, but he's still around. He moved out to Seoul to do part-time teaching and Korean language studying. For a personal sendoff, he held a pizza party at his place. It was pretty darn amazing. We ate, drank and had a fantastic time.

Hongdae to Cheonho

Two Towns, One Night
02/16/2013 @ 홍대 & 천호 [Hongdae & Cheonho]

About a month ago, I met up with Erik and Ji-hyun in Hongdae. We ended up with a number of new and old friends. After drinks in Hongdae, we ended up in a car with one of Erik's Cheonho friends. We piled seven people into a car that was definitely only meant to hold five and drove to the other side of town. It was an unusually eventful evening, all-in-all. I'd do it again.

How to get to Hongdae:
Hongik University Station [홍대입구역] (Seoul Subway Line 2) - Exit 9 / Exit 8
Exit 9 is the most common exit that will take you straight to the fun. I personally like exit 8; it's a little farther away from the action, but far less busy.

How to get to Cheonho:
Cheonho Station [천호역] (Seoul Subway Line 8 & Line 5) - Exits 3 or 4
I don't know my way around that well, but if you take either of these exits, you should be able to get yourself into trouble easily enough.
