Last weekend, I went out to Hongdae with Chelsea to get some lunch, and we stumbled upon a little youth gathering. It was a large group of young people from Korea, China & Japan. As many of you are aware. These three countries have had a bit of a rough history. This past has left a lot of negative feelings amongst the people today. I think it was a wonderful thing that these kids were doing. They were out in the heat, showing everyone that we are all just people that can be friends.
How to get to Hongdae:
Hongik University Station [홍대입구역] (Seoul Subway Lines 2) - Exit 9 / Exit 8
Exit 9 is the most common exit that will take you straight to the fun. I personally like exit 8; it's a little farther away from the action, but far less busy.
