New Year's Eve - Part 1

So, it's that time of year again. Another year gone, another year has begun. I spent the evening with a wonderful bunch of friends out in my favorite area of Seoul, Hongdae. We headed in early in the evening and pretty much b-lined straight to the action. Upon arrival at the station, we made haste to Bricx. I had never been there, but it's a semi-upscale underground bar with black lights and zebra print seats. All of the waiters and waitresses were dressed to the nines, and the place had a classy feel to it. The table purchased a total of three bottles of Absolut and proceeded to get pretty slippy at the first establishment. I did not partake in this particular endeavor and stuck with beer with a single shot of whisky. I wanted to last the night. The fact that I don't care for vodka is besides the point.

New Year's Eve - Part 2

After Bricx, we headed down to Freebird for Tommy's show. I actually never caught the name of his band, but they did a nice job. We all did a fair amount of dancing and rang in the new year on the dance floor. At some point, Paul fell into a table and broke a glass with his arm. He spent the following ten minutes nursing a bleeding wound. Paul brings the fun! Seriously.

We drank at someplace on a roof, ate chicken, maybe went to Gogos, went to another bar, got lost hunting for a cave bar, found the cave bar, ate KFC, and went home at 6ish, I think.
